Ryan McCartan is an American actor, singer, and songwriter, born June 14, 1993 in Minnesota, United States. He is primarily known for his recurring role in the Disney Channel original series “Liv and Maddie” (2013-2017), where he plays the character Diggie Smalls. Mccartasn was one of two winners of the Jimmy Award, the highest honor at the National High School Musical Theater Awards, in 2011. He played the role of Jason Dean “J.D.” in the Off-Broadway production of “Heathers: The Musical” at the New World Stages 2014 complex in New York City. In 2016 he released a movie with Victoria Justice called “Rocky Horror Picture Show”. He formed the musical act “The Girl and the Dreamcatcher” with girlfriend Dove Cameron in 2015; They released their debut LP, “Negatives”, in 2016. On September 11, 2018, McCartan made his Broadway debut as Fiyero in the musical “Wicked.”
