Ryan Thomas Bio
Born in 1984, Ryan Thomas is an English actor. Only 16 when he made his acting debut, he played Jason Grimshaw in the celebrated television show Coronation Street. Leaving the long running show after sixteen years he worked alongside veteran actors such as William Roache, who has been on the show since 1960 and Helen Worth who has been in the show since 1974.
Wanting a new style of work after the repetitive nature of the soap opera Thomas won a role in the beloved Australian soap opera Neighbours as Rafael Humphreys, he has since become a fan favourite on the show and plays a backpacker. An actor well known in the UK, Thomas was cast to appeal to the large UK audience of the show.
