RZA is the stage name of Robert Fitzgerald Diggs who was born on July 5, 1969, in Brownsville, New York City. He was part of the group Wu-Tang Clan.
He released 6 Feet Deep with Gravediggaz in 1994. His debut single “Wu-Wear: The Garment Renaissance” which dropped on 1996 made it to the Billboard Hot 100. The track featured Method Man & Cappadonna and peaked at No. 60. In 1999, he composed the film score for the movie Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai. His most notable scoring projects include Kill Bill: Volume 1 and Kill Bill: Volume 2.
His first solo album, Bobby Digital, dropped in 1999. He also released Digital Bullet (2001) Birth of a Prince (2003), and Digi Snacks (2008). In 2016, RZA collaborated with Interpol’s Paul Banks and released the LP Anything But Words under Banks & Steelz
