Sara Maria Forsberg, AKA Saara, was born on May 2, 1994 in Jakobstad, Finland. She is better known for her singing but is also a trained chef. Sara first caught the world’s attention when one of her YouTube videos went viral in 2014. Her rise to fame got her a deal with Omnivision Entertainment the same year, and she moved to Los Angeles for her work with them.
She went on to sign on to Capitol Records while still in the United States. She released her debut single Ur Cool which was among the top 10 singles in Finland the following year (2015). She also worked with Lucas Film the same year to develop the alien language for the film Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Sara left Capitol Records in 2016 and released her debut album Hello I’m Sara. She also helped create an alien language in the film Star Trek Beyond in 2016. She is now the host of Remotely Funny on CBBC.
