Sabrina Ionescu Bio
Sabrina Ionescu is a professional basketball player born on 6th December 1997 in Walnut Creek, California, United States. She currently plays for New York Liberty, which competes in the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA). She went to Miramonte High School, where she played basketball for the school team. She had an impressive career in high school, posting amazing stats that revealed her talent. In April 2016, she committed to the University of Oregon. She made her debut for Oregon in November 2016.
Over the four years she was with Oregon, she was a standout player. She was praised for her exceptional performance. Ionescu started her professional career with New York Liberty in 2020 after being selected in the first overall pick in the 2020 WNBA Draft. She made her debut for Liberty on 25th July of the same year.
