SACHI is a New Zealand electro duo that was formed in the early 2010s in Auckland, New Zealand. The musical duo performs future bass and progressive house music. The founding members of the group were Nick Chrisp and Will Thomas, two friends that met way back in their primary school.
Some of their early recording efforts were sent to top profile artists like Skrillex, Baauer, and Steve Aoki. The duo debuted in the early 2010s and their music was inspired by artists such as Flume and Ryan Hemsworth. They released three EPs and they were 2014’s Your EP, 2016’s Lunch with Bianca, and 2019’s Nights With Ruby. 2016’s Lunch with Bianca included the popular South Central track that featured Duckwrth. Diplo has played one of the tracks on his BBC radio show.
The group issued a number of singles in 2017 including Lowkey (featuring Chicago MC Mick Jenkins) and Shelter (featuring vocalist NIKA). The next year, they released "Hollywood Angel" with E^ST.
