Safia Bio
SAFIA is an electronica and indie pop band that originally formed in Canberra. It is composed of lead singer Ben Woolner, percussionist and producer Michael Bells and guitarist and producer Harry Sayers. The band released their debut album, ‘Internal’ in 2016, and it quickly went up to the second spot on the ARIA charts. Since then, they have worked on a variety of collaborations and projects. When Twenty One Pilots came to Australia in 2017 for their Emotional Roadshow Tour (which also included New Zealand and other locations), SAFIA was their opening act. Following their release of “Internal”, the band has also released “Cellophane Rainbow” in 2017 and “Freakin’ Out” in 2018.
