Sally Hawkins Bio
Sally Hawkins, born Sally Cecilia Hawkins on the 27th of April 1976 in London, is an English actress. With training from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, her film debut came in All or Nothing in 2002. Her breakthrough role as the lead on Happy-Go-Lucky, won her a Golden Globe and Silver Bear Award to name a few.
Going on to work in Blue Jasmine alongside Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin, she was highly praised for her work in the film, receiving her first Academy Award nomination and a BAFTA Award nomination. Her second Academy Award and BAFTA Award nomination came for her work in the critically acclaimed fantasy film, The Shape of Water, in which she acts alongside Octavia Spencer and Michael Shannon.
