Salvatore Ganacci is the stage name Emir Kobilić, a Swedish DJ, producer and remixer, born in Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 29, 1986. He started his musical studies at Musikmakarna in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden around 2010 and by 2013, he was beginning to produce his own music. That year he released his first three singles as well as the EP “The City is Mine”. In 2014, Kobilić signed a contract with Universal Music, before releasing “Fresh” in collaboration with Jillionaire, which became a hit song in clubs around the world. He did official remixes for artists like Tove Styrke, Alesso, Tove Lo, Afrojack, Snoop Dogg, Dada Life or Rebecca & Fiona. In 2016, Kobilić signed with Refune Music and released the EP “Dive” featuring DJs Enya and Alex Aris. Kobilić is considered a pioneer of the moombahton, a genre which mixes trap and dancehall music. He has performed at major electronic music festivals such as Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival.
