Samuel Tear Amidon, better known as Sam Amidon, is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who performs folk music infused with jazz and classic elements. He was born in Brattleboro, Vermont, United States, on June 3, 1981. Sam began his music career in 2001 with the release of his instrumental album Solo Fiddle. His discography includes the hit singles Sugar Baby, Walking on Sunshine, Juma Mountain, Relief, Way Go Lily, and the albums Lily-O, I See the Sign and Bright Sunny South. Sam was featured in Jacob Collier’s album Djesse Vol. 2 alongside fellow musical artists Lianne La Havas, JoJo, Steve Vai, and Chris Thile.
