American actor, Samuel Levinson was born on 8th January 1985. He hails from a family of actors and is the son of Academy Award-winning filmmaker, Barry Levinson. He made his debut in films in the 1992 film, ‘Toys’. He was seen in other films like ‘Bandits’, and ‘What Just Happened. For his directorial debut, ‘Another Happy Day’, Levinson bagged the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award. In 2017, he co-wrote ‘The Wizard of Lies’ which stars Robert De Niro. The film was nominated for the Writers Guild of America Awards. In 2020, he wrote and directed the Netflix film, ‘Malcom and Marie’. In 2021, Levinson went on to co-create, write and executive produce, ‘The Idol’, a well-known HBO series. Levinson is known for his work in several other Hollywood films like ‘Operation: Endgame’, ‘Assassination Nation’, and ‘Deep Water’. He has produced several films including ‘Pieces of a Woman’, ‘X’, and ‘Pearl’.
