Sam Richardson is an American actor, writer, comedian, and producer best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, United States, on January 12, 1984. Sam began his acting career in 2007 when he appeared in the short film The Planning Lady. He has since had a successful TV career with recurring roles in the TV series HouseBroken, The Afterparty, The Fungies, M.O.D.O.K., Hoops, BoJack Horseman, Champaign ILL, and Detroiters, but he is best known for starring in the comedy series Veep alongside Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Tony Hale, Anna Chlumsky, and Reid Scott. Sam’s filmography includes Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, Horrible Bosses 2, Werewolves Within, and Office Christmas Party.
