Sam Witwer Bio
Sam Witwer is an American actor and musician, born on October 20, 1977, in Glenview, Illinois. He is best known for playing the role of Crashdown in Battlestar Galactica, Davis "Doomsday" Bloom in the television series Smallville, as well as for his roles as Ben Lockwood in Supergirl, Mr. Hyde in Once Upon a Time, and Aidan Waite in Being Human. The Emmy-nominated actor has also done extensive voice work throughout his career. He has voice-acted the Star Wars villain Darth Maul opposite Jon Favreau and Clancy Brown. For the role, he was nominated for the Annie Award for Best Voice Acting in an Animated Television/Broadcast Production. He has also lent his voice for Cartoon Network`s animated series Clone Wars. The Juilliard-trained actor also had a recurring role on the series, Dexter, playing Neil Perry. Sam is also a musician and a lead vocalist in his band, The Crashtones.
