Samantha Fish is a blues rock musician with a burgeoning solo career. As a child she started out on drums, but switched to guitar. By her teen years, she would perform at a local club in Kansas City called Knuckleheads Saloon. She produced a live album called “Live Bait” in 2009, which snagged a talent scout’s attention and she was soon touring with Cassie Taylor and Dani Wilde after signing to Ruf Records.
For a young blues artist, Samantha Fish has already rubbed some famous elbows. She has collaborated with artists including Royal Southern Brotherhood, Paul Thorn, Devon Allman, and Reese Wynans. She’s also won the 2012 Blues Music Awards in Memphis for “Best New Artist Debut.” She’s also had back-to-back #1 chartings on the Top Blues Albums chart with her most recent two albums, “Wild Heart” (2015) and “Belle of the West” (2017).
