Sandra Gal is a professional golfer born on 9th May 1985 in Düsseldorf, West Germany. She is a golfer in the US-based Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour, commonly abbreviated as LPGA. She was exposed to golf at age 5, and at 17 years old, she was called to the German National Team. At 18, she won the German National Girls Championship. She later moved to the University of Florida and was part of the Florida Gators women's golf team (2005 – 2007). She won four events in NCAA competition and was awarded First Team All-American honors. She also won the Ladies European Amateur in 2007 before joining the LPGA Qualifying Tournament.
She began her professional career in 2008 with the LPGA. She won her first LPGA Tour event in 2011, the second German woman to reach such heights. In 2016, she participated in the Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics.
