Born on February 5, 1971, in Boonville, Missouri, United States, Sara Lynn Evans is an award-winning American country music singer-songwriter celebrated for her satin contralto and neotraditional country music influences. In her stellar career spanning over more than 2 decades, Evans has released eight studio albums with over 20 singles chartering on Billboard Hot Country Songs. She was born with talent in her bones which surfaced when she started performing with her family's band at the tender age of four. She made her debut in 1997 with Three Chords and the Truth and instantly gained national recognition.
