Sarah Drew is an American actress born in Stony Brook, New York on October 1, 1980. She is best known for her role as Hannah Rogers in the television show Everwood and for her role as Dr. April Kepner in the show Grey’s Anatomy. Drew started acting in school plays and at the community theaters Take One Theatre Arts and Summer Stock Theatre. While still in high school, she voiced the character Stacy Rowe in the animated show Daria from 1997 to 2001. She also voiced Stacy Rowe in the animated TV movies Is It Fall Yet? and Is It College Yet?. She made her debut in film in 2003 in the movie Radio and continued landing roles in the films The Baxter, American Pastime, Wieners, Tug, Moms’ Night Out, and Indivisible. In 2003 she made her debut on Broadway in Vincent in Brixton. In 2004 she landed her first acting role on television in the show Wonderfalls and has since had roles in the shows Cold Case, Medium, Privileged, Private Practice, Mad Men, Glee, Grey’s Anatomy, Miami Medical and more.
