Sarbjit Cheema (born June 14, 1948 in Cheema Kalan, Jalandhar, Punjab) is Punjabi singer-turned-actor.
In his childhood, he used to sing at family functions. After completing his graduation in History, Cheema went to Canada to live with his elder sister Jaswinder Kaur Sandhu. In Canada, Cheema met Balraj Bassi who was highly impressed by Cheema's talent after hearing the performance of Cheema at a function. He learnt music under the mentorship of Balraj Bassi. He also learnt from B. S.Narang.
Cheema came into limelight when his first album was released by TPM in 1993. Subsequently, he released a new album every year. His most successful song was Rangla Punjab from his album Mela Vekh Diye Mutyare, which was released in 1996.
In 2004, Cheema made his acting debut in the film Pind Di Kudi. He then co-wrote and starred in Apni Boli Apna Desh, alongside Shweta Tiwari, Gurpreet Ghuggi, and Raj Babbar. In 2014, he starred in Yaar Anmulle 2 with Raja Bath, and Poonam Sood.
