Satellite Citi Bio
Anna Gevorkian, the lead vocalist and drummer, is the front-woman for the band called Satellite Citi. This is a hardrock playing band that is based out of Los Angeles, California. The band's frontwoman, Anna Gevorkian, performs both the lead vocals and the drums, fusing thrashing vocals with equally heart-pounding beats. Her vocals are infectiously catchy, and her drumming is thunderous. Gevorkian is the only member of the band to have performed both roles. The guitarist and backing vocalist, Shaunt Sulahian, is responsible for the band's powerful and distinctive guitar riffs. These riffs pay homage to traditional anthem rock, but at the same time, they are completely original and infectiously catchy. “Rock Bottom” was Satellite Citi's first release, and it was released in 2015 to coincide with the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide. After performing at countless gigs over the course of three years and cultivating a growing fanbase, they decided to release an EP called Negative Space.
