Scarface is the stage name of the American rapper and record producer Brad Terrence Jordan. He was born in Houston, Texas on November 9, 1970. He is best known for being a member of the Houston hip hop group Geto Boys. The group was started in 1986 and while Jordan was with the group they released seven studio albums, three compilation albums, and one remix album. He was signed to the label Rap-A-Lot and in 1991 released his debut solo album titled Mr. Scarface Is Back and has since released the albums The World Is Yours, The Diary, The Untouchable, My Homies, The Last of a Dying Breed, The Fix, My Homies Part 2, Made, Emeritus, and Deeply Rooted. He has also released two collaboration albums, two compilation albums, and three mixtapes. Almost all of his albums have charted on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and the Billboard R&B Albums chart. In 2015 he released a memoir titled Diary of a Madman. Scarface has made appearances in the film Idiocracy and the video games Def Jam Vendetta and Def Jam: Fight For NY.
