Scarlet Alexandra Fernández Cristancho, widely known as Scarlet Gruber, is an actress, model, and ballet dancer born in Caracas, Venezuela, on February 10, 1989. She trained as a ballet dancer at the Miami City Ballet. She attended New World School of the Arts High School, where she trained as a ballet, modern, jazz, and hip-hop dancer.
Scarlet studied with Adriana Barraza. She appeared as Jenny in an episode of the TV series Aurora in 2010. In 2012, Scarlet played Rebeca Marcano in Passions of the Heart. Between 2012 and 2013, she starred as Cecilia Garza in Rosario. Her role in Cosita Linda earned her a Miami Life Award nomination.
Scarlet portrayed Andrea del Junco in Tierra de Reyes between 2014 and 2015. She starred as Vanessa Villoslada in the TV series Sin tu mirada. The role earned her a nomination for Best Young Actress in Premios Tvy Novelas. She has starred alongside Jhonny Obando, Julio Coutinho, Ana Lorena Sánchez, and Christian de la Campa.
