Coming from Hanover, West Germany, Scorpions was formed in 1969. They are best known for their album “Rock You Like a Hurricane” in 1994 and their 1990 ballad “Wind of Change.” The Scorpions sold more than 22 million records being considered as among the most successful rock bands from Europe. The band was formed in 1969 by Rudolf Schenker together with Karl-Heinz Follmer, Lothar Heimberg, and Wolfgang Dziony. They were later joined by Michael Schenker abd Klaus Meine.
In 1972, Scorpions recorded “Lonesome Crow” used on the German movie soundtrack “Das Kalte Paradies.” The band released consecutive albums from 1974 to 1977 entitled “Fly to the Rainbow,” “In Trance,” “Virgin Killer,” and “Taken By Force.”
