Scott Frank is a well-known American film director, producer, screenwriter, and author, who was born on March 10th, 1960, in the city of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, in the United States. Frank has been nominated for an Academy Award twice, both times in the category of Best Adapted Screenplay, for his work on the films “Out of Sight” and “Logan.” Frank's work on “Scott Godless” (2017) earned him a nomination for the 2018 Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series, Movie, or Special. He has worked in numerous films, both credited and uncredited. Moreover, he has worked for Netflix on a number of television miniseries, the most notable of which he co-created with Allan Scott and is titled “The Queen's Gambit.”
