Scott Michael Foster is an American actor, writer, and producer best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Winfield, Illinois, United States, on March 4, 1985. Scott began his acting career in 2006 when he appeared in the drama film The Horrible Flowers. He has since had a successful career in Hollywood, starring in the T series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Blood & Oil, Chasing Life, Once Upon a Time, Halt and Catch Fire, Zero Hour, Californication, and Greek, but he is best known for starring in the Netflix drama series You alongside Penn Badgley, Victoria Pedretti, Ambyr Childers, and Elizabeth Lail. His filmography includes 5 Years Apart, Teenage Dirtbag, The Boy Behind the Door, My Dead Boyfriend, The Pact II, and In the Key of Love.
