Scott Patrick Moir is a Canadian retired figure skater who competed in ice dancing competitions. He was born in London, Ontario, Canada, on September 2, 1987.
Scott began skating at a young age, and in 1997, he teamed up with fellow ice dancer Tessa Virtue, who he would partner with for the rest of his professional career. He went on to have a successful career that spanned two decades and saw him win multiple medals at international ice dancing competitions. In addition to numerous wins at the ISU Champions Series (ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating), Scott and his dancing partner Tessa went on to win a gold medal in the Ice Dancing competition at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, two silver medals in the Ice Dancing and Team events at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, and two gold medals at the Mixed Team event and Mixed Ice Dancing event, which also featured Gabriella Papadakis, Guillaume Cizeron, Maia Shibutani, and Alex Shibutani.
