Scott Patterson is an American actor born on September 11, 1958, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He is best known for starring on NBC’s The Event, and the popular TV show Gilmore Girls alongside Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel. He has also acted in 3 of the Saw movies.
He attended Rutgers University pursuing a degree in comparative literature and went to study acting in New York with renowned coaches Sondra Lee and Robert Lewis, at The Actors Studio where he also observed Arthur Penn, Paul Newman, and Frank Corsaro. In 1988, he founded a theatre company in New York, called Arc Light which produced the works of Sam Shepherd, John Bishop, Shakespeare, and Harold Pinter. In 1995, he appeared in the movie Three Wishes alongside Patrick Swayze. Some of his other popular roles include movies like Little Big League, Highway 395, Her Best Move, Rhapsody in Bloom, and many more. He also appeared in TV shows including Seinfeld, It’s Like, You Know, Will & Grace, Fired Up, and many more.
