Scott Wayne Barnes Jr. is an American professional basketball player who plays as a small forward and a power forward in the NBA. He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, United States, on August 1, 2001. He spent his developmental years playing for Cardinal Newman High School, NSU University School, Montverde Academy, and the Seminoles of Florida State University. Scotti turned professional in 2021 when he was selected by the Toronto Raptors in the first round of the NBA Draft. Throughout his career in Toronto, Scottie played alongside Yuta Watanabe, Pascal Siakam, Precious Achiuwa, and Khem Birch. His career highlights include ACC Freshman of the Year, ACC Sixth Man of the Year, Third-team All-ACC, and three gold medals with the US national team at FIBA Under-19 World Cup, FIBA Under-17 World Cup, and FIBA Americas U16 Championship.
