Scotty Maurice Pippen Jr. is a professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association, who was born on November 10th, 2000 in Portland, Oregon, United States. Scotty started his academic career at Vanderbilt University in the year 2000. At Sierra Canyon School, where he went to high school, he was on the basketball team alongside Marvin Bagley III, who would later go on to play in the NBA. After an outstanding performance in his first year at Vanderbilt, he was honored with a spot on the 2020 SEC All-Freshman Team. He has signed a deal with the South Bay Lakers of the NBA G League that allows him to play for either team. Additionally, he is well-known for being the son of the legendary Chicago Bulls player Scottie Pippen.
