Scuba Bio
Dubstep, house, and electronic music producer Scuba was born Paul Rose in England and formally began his music career in 2007. After creating the label Hotflush Recordings, he began to release music from artists such as Benga and Joy Orbison. The latter artist would put out the very popular single “Hyph Mngo” in 2009 through Hotflush, causing the label to gain much attention. Scuba would go on to release three albums of his own on the label: A Mutual Antipathy in 2008, Triangulation in 2010, and Personality in 2012. When he first began making music, he was known for his darker sounds, but later moved on to a more funky and loose sound that he has come to be recognized for. Triangulation, for example was praised for its smoothness in comparison to the many other thumping dubstep albums out there.
