Seaforth is an Australian band that found its home in Nashville. It consists of lifelong friends Tom Jordan and Mitch Thompson. The duo was formed in 2015 and named after the suburb in Sydney that they both grew up in. They found their true calling at a young age. When Jordan was just 11 years old, he was awarded a prize for Best Original Composition in 2005 by the Music and Arts Talent Search Teen Writers. Thompson was performing at school theater and had joined a rock band there. After graduating from school, he was part of reality TV shows The Voice and the X-Factor. In 2015, they decided to merge their talents and formed Seaforth. By 2019, their dreams had come true when they were signed by RCA Records in Nashville. Their debut EP ‘Love That’ was produced by iconic music producer Dann Huff and earned them a spot on ‘5 Artists to Watch’ list by Taste of Country in 2019. The band was also crowned with the Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year award at the global APRA Awards.
