Sean Payton Bio
Sean Patrick Payton is an American retired professional football player and coach who played as a quarterback in the NFL. He was born in San Mateo, California, United States, on December 29, 1963.
Sean spent his formative years playing for Naperville Central High School and Eastern Illinois University, and between 1987 and 1988, he played with the Chicago Bruisers, Pittsburgh Gladiators, Ottawa Rough Riders, Chicago Bears, and Leicester Panthers. He began his coaching career the same year, and he has since worked with San Diego State, Indiana State, Miami University, University of Illinois, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, and New Orleans Saints.
