Sebastian Vettel Bio

Sebastian Vettel is a German racing driver born in Heppenheim, West Germany on July 3, 1987. He currently races Formula One for Scuderia Ferrari. He is considered to be one of the best drivers in the sport. Vettel has won four Formula One World Championships from 2010 to 2013. He started amateur racing at three and a half years old and started actually racing at 8 years old in 1995. At 11 years old he was accepted onto the Red Bull Junior Team. He was promoted to open-wheel cars in 2003 and won the 2004 German Formula BMW Championship. Vettel started his Formula One career in 2006 as a test driver for BMW Sauber. He made his debut with the team at the 2007 United States Grand Prix. In 2007 he started racing for Scuderia Toro Rosso and in 2009 started racing for Red Bull Racing. In 2010 he won his first Formula One World Championship and won again in 2011, 2012, and 2013. In 2015 he started racing for Ferrari and is set to be with the team until 2020. Throughout his career Vettel has set and broken a number of records, including most wins in a season, most consecutive wins, most consecutive Grand Slams, youngest driver to score a Grand Slam, and more.
