Sela Ward is an actress, who was born in the United States on July 11th, 1956. She participated in cheerleading at the University of Alabama, where she was also crowned as the homecoming queen. She went on to work both in television and film. Before her more recent work, she was also a successful film actress in the 1990s, and had a significant role in the classic film “The Fugitive.” Her career peaked in the decade. The recurring roles on the television shows “Once and Again and CSI: NY” are largely responsible for her rise to fame. She played the role of Dr. Lucy Hall in the famous movie "The Day After Tomorrow" (2004). Moreover, she has also co-starred in multiple episodes on the well-known show “House M.D.” with Hugh Laurie as the character Stacy.
