Selena Tan is an executive producer, director, writer and actress, who was born in Singapore, in 1971. She began acting when she was 14 years old, and her acting coach was the late theater actress and director, Christina Sergeant. She received her degree in law from the National University of Singapore after studying at Fairfield Methodist Secondary School, Raffles Junior College. Selena left her career in law to fully concentrate on acting. She rose to prominence as a member of the cabaret troupe called “The Dim Sum Dollies.” Moreover, Selena established Dream Academy, which is an independent entertainment and arts company responsible for producing a variety of performance shows like, “The Crazy Christmas,” “Broadway Beng,” and “Cheena,” among many others in 2000.
