Sezen Aksu (born Fatma Sezen Yıldırım on July 13, 1954) is a Turkish pop music singer, composer, and producer who has sold over 40 million albums worldwide. "Queen of Turkish Pop" and "Minik Serçe" are two of her nicknames ("Little Sparrow"). Since her debut in 1975, Aksu's influence on Turkish pop and world music has grown, thanks to her sponsorship of and collaboration with a wide range of musicians, including Sertab Erener, ebnem Ferah, Aşkn Nur Yengi, Hande Yener, Yildiz Tilbe, Işn Karaca, Seden Gürel, Harun Kolçak, and Levent Yüksel.
