Shaan Bio
Shantanu Mukherjee, better known as his professional stage name Shaan, is an Indian singer, host and television personality. Shaan was born on 30th September 1972 in Mumbai, India. He is the son of a music director and his sister, Sagarika, is a singer as well. In fact, Shaan’s career started alongside his sister, Sagarika, when they released popular songs like ‘Love-Ology’, which has more than a quarter of a million views on YouTube. He has since gone solo and released a very large number of songs and singles in multiple languages, and has been nominated for several high-profile awards, most of which he has won, such as “Best Male Playback” in the 2007 Bollywood Movie Awards. Besides his music career, he now also hosts the popular TV show Voice of India.
