SHAED Bio
SHAED is an electro-pop trio formed in Washington D.C. in 2011. The members of the group are Chelsea Lee on lead vocals and Spencer and Max Ernst on keyboards, guitars, drums, and backing vocals. The group was started as a folk rock band by the twin siblings Max and Spencer Ernst in 2011 under the name The Walking Sticks. The group released their debut EP titled World So Bright in 2012. In 2011 Chelsea joined the group and they switched their style of music from folk rock to dream pop. In 2013 they released their second EP titled Spend the Night. They changed their name from The Walking Sticks to SHAED in 2016 and signed with the label Photo Finish Records. Later that year they released their debut EP under their new name titled Just Wanna See. One of the singles on the EP “Name On It” was featured in a Victoria’s Secret commercial in 2018. They released their second EP in 2018 titled Melt.
