Shaka Ponk Bio
Shaka Ponk is a rock band from Paris. The band was formed in 2004 and its members include vocalist Frah, guitarist C.C, keyboardist Steve, bassist Mandris, drummer Ion, and vocalist Samaha Sam. Their music style combines hip hop, rock, funk rock, electronic, and punk rock. The band released their first album, titled “Loco Con Da Frenchy Talkin'” in 2006. Three years later, they released the second album “BadPorn Movie Trax.” Through the label “Tôt ou Tard.”
In October 2009, the band performed at CMJ Music Festival in New York City. They released their second album in the U.S. on 1st March 2010. In June 2011, they released their third album, titled “The Geeks and the Jerkin' Socks”. In 2014, they released two albums at the same time, titled “The Black Pixel Ape” and “The White Pixel Ape”. They released the fifth album “The Evo!” in 2017 and “Apelogies” in 2020.
