Shalu Menon Bio
Shalu Menon is a celebrated actress and dancer who was born on 7th October 1983, in Kottayam Kerala. She grew up in an artistic family with strong influences from her grandfather Sri Tripunithura Adavindaksha Menon who is a legendary dancer in Kerala. Her career in cinema began with a small role in the 1998 film, ‘British Market. This was followed by several other movies like ‘Cover Story,’ ‘Kakkakuyil,’ ‘ Vakkalathu Narayanankutty,’ ‘Grandmother,’ ‘Parinamam,’ ‘Oru Christmas Ranthri,’ ‘Kissan,’ and ‘Thirike Veendum.’ In 2000 she also made her TV debut with the serial ‘Patharamaatu’ on Asianet TV. She has appeared on several TV shows since her debut, including ‘Ninakkayi,’ ‘Alakal,’ ‘Swathanam,’ ‘Mangalyam,’ ‘Aalippazham,’ ‘Mukesh Kathakal,’ ‘Krishnakripasagaram,’ ‘Swami Ayyapan,’ and ‘Manassariaythe.’ She entered the Tamil industry with the 2011 serial, ‘Amman’ where she portrayed the role of Devi. Shalu Menon is one of the most respected artists in the industry who has also been a part of the Central Board of Film Certification and a member of ATMA.
