Shane Larkin is an American professional basketball player born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 2, 1992. He is currently a point guard for the Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketball Super League and the Euro League. Larkin played basketball in high school at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida. He went on to play college basketball at the University of Miami for the Miami Hurricanes from 2012 to 2013. In 2013 he was selected by the Atlanta Hawks, 18th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft. The same day he was drafted, he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks. He made his NBA debut on November 18, 2013, against the Philadelphia 76ers. In 2014 he was traded to the New York Knicks and played with the Knicks in the 2014 NBA Summer League. In 2015 he signed with the Brooklyn Nets and played with the team for the season. He signed a one-year contract with Baskonia of the EuroLeague and Liga ABC for the 2016-2017 season. In 2017 he signed with the Boston Celtics of the NBA and in 2018 signed a one-year deal with the Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketball Super League and the EuroLeague. In 2019 he played in the semi-final of the 2019 EuroLeague Final Four.
