Shannon De Lima Bio
Shannon De Lima (born January 6, 1989 in Venezuela) is a professional model, best known for her matrimonial union with salsa singer Marc Anthony in 2014. She is also renowned for competing in the Miss Earth Venezuela pageant, where she finished as the runner-up to Alexandra Braun.
In college, Shannon studied communications, interior design, and acting for film. She began her career as a model by participating in local beauty pageants throughout Venezuela. She had been competing in beauty pageants and casting auditions since 2005. She also auditioned to be in the Caracas Fashion Beach show in 2006. After several stints at modeling, Shannon became an entrepreneur and founded an online store where she sells beauty care products.
In 2017, Shannon and Marc Anthony split. In 2019, she began dating soccer star James Rodríguez. She and Rodriguez welcomed a son named Samuel via surrogacy in November 2019. She served as the inspiration behind Marc Anthony's Statue of Liberty tattoo. He decided upon this design because she "freed him from his past."
