Shannon Leto is an accomplished American musician, primarily recognized as the drummer for the internationally renowned rock band, Thirty Seconds to Mars. He was born in Bossier City, Louisiana, United States, on March 9, 1970.
he moved to Los Angeles, California, to pursue a career in music. In 1998, he co-founded Thirty Seconds to Mars with his younger brother, Jared Leto. His discography with the band includes the hit singles The Kill, This Is War, Attack, Walk On Water, Kings And Queens, Close To The Edge, Hurricane, and the albums A Beautiful Lie, This Is War, and AMERICA.
Leto's impressive career includes numerous side projects such as collaborations with Antoine Becks and performances with Street Drum Corps. He has also contributed to the short-lived supergroup, The Wondergirls.
