Shay Johnson Bio
Reality TV Star, entrepreneur, and model Shay Johnson was born in Georgia on 30th September 1983. She started out as a model for hip-hop videos for Fabulous and Young Dro, TI, Cee Lo, and other artists. She also appeared on the covers of many men’s magazines like King, Giant, and BlackMen. In 2006, Shay began to get recognition when she competed in the VH1 show, ‘Flavour of Love’ where she earned the nickname Buckeey. She was then introduced as a main cast member on the reality TV show, ‘Love and Hip Hop: Miami’. After staying on the show for two seasons, she went on to appear as a special guest on many shows like ‘The Tyra Banks Show’, ‘Rap City’s Who’s That Girl’, ‘The Reality Remix Awards’, and ‘Ozone Music Awards’. As a host and guest radio DJ, she has traveled across the United States for various events. Shay also ventured into her own business of a special line of herbal products to help women suffering from fibroids.
