Shikhar Dhawan Bio
Shikhar Dhawan, also known as Gabbar, is a professional cricket player, entrepreneur, and entertainer born on December 5, 1985, in Delhi, India. The opening batsman became prominent for being the fastest Indian batsman to score 3,000 ODI runs in only 72 innings. In the under 19 World Cup, he scored a record 505 runs in seven innings.
Shikhar is endorsed by several brands, including Canara Bank, VStar, Rodeo Drive, Dream 11, Big Bazaar, Cornerstone Sport & Entertainment, and many more. His ODI debut was on October 20, 2010, against Australia. His T20I Debut was in 2011. He played his first Test against Australia in March 2013. The same year, he won the ICC Champions Trophy and the Golden Bat Award.
He currently plays for the Punjab Kings. However, his domestic career began with Delhi, and he has played for Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians, Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Delhi Capitals. He created Da One Sports, an initiative specializing in sports training, education, and athlete development. In 2021, he was honored with the Arjuna Award for his outstanding achievement in sports.
