Shioli Kutsuna is an actress and model born on December 22, 1992, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. In 2006, she won the Special Jury Prize at the 11th All Japan National Bishoujo Contest. She has appeared in commercials for several brands, including Epson, MOS Burger, Pocky, MOSDO, Hay Day, DAIHATSU, Aera Home, SUNTORY, and TAKARATOMY.
Her performance in My Back Pages earned her the 85th Kinema Junpo Award for Best Actress. Shioli is best known for portraying Ran Mori in Shinichi Kudo's Written Challenge and Minami Maho in BECK. In 2014, she won the 37th Japan Academy Award for Newcomer of the Year for her role in Unforgiven & Before The Vigil. In 2021, she was included in the Forbes JAPAN 30 Under 30 JAPAN (Entertainment).
In 2018, she starred as Yukio in Deadpool 2. Shioli was featured in Netflix's Outsider and Murder Mystery. She stars in Netflix Japan’s original drama Sanctuary-Sacred Area, set for release in 2022. Her acting credits include Neko Atsume House, Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV, While the Women Are Sleeping, The Assassin in Black, and Nezumi-Kozo, Running Around Edo.
