Shola Maxwell Shoretire (born February 2, 2004 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England) is a UK-based, British-Nigerian professional footballer.
Shoretire began his career with English youth football side, Wallsend Boys Club based in Wallsend, North Tyneside. As a child, he also played for Whitley Bay Boys Club, Newcastle City Juniors, Hebburn Town, Cramlington Juniors, and Manchester City's youth team before switching camp to Manchester United on July 1, 2019.
On February 21, 2021, Shoretire made his first-team debut for Manchester United as an 88th-minute substitute for Marcus Rashford in a 3–1 league win at Old Trafford over Newcastle United. Just four days after making his first-team Premier league debut, Shoretire became the youngest United player to appear in a European game, coming on as a substitute against Real Sociedad in the Europa League at the age of 17 years and 23 days. He is also the youngest-ever player to appear in the UEFA Youth League, having come on against Valencia in 2018 as a 14-year-old.
