Showtek Bio

Hailing from the Netherlands are the EDM producers Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen, who go by the name of Showtek. Having formed in 2001, Showtek has had the opportunity to produce music from artists such as Tiesto and Chris Brown, among others. Although they were known to release singles and other material here and there, they eventually debuted an album in 2010 entitled Analogue Players in a Digital World, released through Central Station Records. Just before making a big career announcement, the duo collaborated with Tiesto and Angger Dimas to produce the EP We Rock, yet they produced it under the name Boys Will Be Boys. Shortly after, they announced a huge collaboration project they intended to undertake, which they name Crazy Collabs. The project would give them the opportunity to release material with big names such as Tiesto, Bassjackers, Justin Prime, and many more.

In late 2013, Showtek created their own label, calling it Skink Records, which was preceded by the creation of their own podcast on iTunes. Under their label, they released the single “We Like To Party”, which charted in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France. They also co-produced the Chris Brown single “Nobody’s Perfect”, and offered their remix to “Tonight I’m Getting Over You” by Carly Rae Jepsen.
