Shriya Saran Bio
Shriya Saran Bhatnagar is an actress, kathak dancer, scuba diver, and model born on September 11, 1982, in Haridwar, Uttar Pradesh, India. She has starred in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu language films. Her acting debut was in 2001 in Ishtam. The commercially successful Telugu film, Santosham, followed in 2002.
Shriya has starred alongside Zayed Khan, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Jesse Metcalfe, and Tara Sharma. In addition, she has starred in several Tamil films, including Sivaji, Azhagiya Tamizh Magan, and Kanthaswamy. In 2008, she debuted in American cinema with Ashok Amritraj's The Other End of the Line.
The same year, she portrayed Anjali Sagar in Mission Istaanbul. Her role won her a Stardust Exciting New Face Award. She has been nominated for eight awards, including a Vijay Award. She has appeared on Comedy Nights with Kapil and Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu. Shriya presented awards at the 14th IIFA Awards and the 54th and 56th Filmfare Awards. She has over 3.2 million followers on Instagram.
