SIDEPIECE Bio
SIDEPIECE is a group of two electronic dance music producers and DJs formed in 2019. The group comprises Dylan Ragland (Party Favor) and Ricky Mears (Nitti Gritti). They are associated with Defected, Higher Ground, IN / ROTATION, Insomniac Music Group, Insomniac Records, SOLOTOKO, and Parlophone UK.
The duo broke out in 2019 with their single, On My Mind, with Diplo. The song peaked at number 17 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart and was remixed by house contemporaries like MK and Purple Disco Machine. Nevertheless, it was the number one most supported dance record in the world in 2020 and was certified platinum and gold in several countries.
SIDEPIECE received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Dance Recording in 2021 for On My Mind. They have remixed songs by Billy Kenny, Calvin Harris, Diskull, Ferreck Dawn. They have over 4,786,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Their latest single, Don’t Keep Me Waiting, was released in February 2022.
