Simon Baker Bio
Simon Baker is an Australian film and television actor, born in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia on July 30, 1969 as Simon Baker-Denny. Mainly known for his role on the CBS television series “The Mentalist,” although he has also directed four episodes. He starred with his future wife in the 1992 Australian drama “E Street”. Upon relocating to Los Angeles with his family, Baker was immediately cast in the Academy Award winning film L.A. Confidential on 1997. He was officially changed to a US Citizen in August 2010. He has been nominated for five AACTA Awards, winning twice. He has twice been nominated for the Golden Globe Awards in the category of Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama. In 2018 he participated in the movie “Best Day Of My Life”.
